"No man can be condemned for owning a dog. As long as he has a dog he has a friend. And the poorer he gets the better friend he has." - Will Rogers

Patricia and Gloria have always shared their home with dogs. They have all been special, but these four are extraordinary. Pal, the Belgian Tervuren, started life as a show dog - but gave that up to be Gloria's Service Dog, allowing her to go places and do things she otherwise could not do. His hobby is sheep-herding. Nellie, the Border Collie, is feisty and keeps Patti on her toes. Ginger and Hadabah, the two mixed breed sisters rescued on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico, are now full of fun and general silliness - but their lives were not always that way. Read their stories and share in the special ways each of these dogs have earned the love and respect of their human companions.
